IronPort Systems Reports Another Record Quarter
Continues to Exceed Expectations—Substantial Renewals, New Business and Industry Consolidation Extend IronPort's Market Leadership
SAN BRUNO, Calif. - August 8, 2006 -- IronPort® Systems Inc., the leader in gateway security, today announced that the company continues to exceed corporate milestones, ending the second quarter of 2006 with more than $25 million in invoicings—the company's highest quarterly top-line to date. This is up more than 89 percent year-over-year from Q2 2005. IronPort continued to dominate large enterprise and government accounts, with domestic growth driven by strong mid-market results. Mirroring IronPort's domestic performance, the company's aggressive international expansion resulted in 42 percent of the quarter's invoicings. IronPort's technology now protects 38 of the 100 largest enterprises in the world, a testament to the innovation that is driving growth at the company.
Record Quarter - Foundation for Future Success
IronPort is focused on continuing to build out its infrastructure, processes and systems to be a financially strong and independent multinational company. The second quarter of 2006 demonstrates the company's progress toward this goal with record-breaking results. Q2 2006 highlights and milestones include:
- Invoicings of more than $25M
- IronPort Anti-Spam™ had a 75 percent attach-rate and accounted for 12 percent of invoicings
- International sales represent 42 percent of invoicings
- 11 percent of US invoicings from federal customers
- Installed base over 300 Million seats
- 100 percent customer renewal rate
