Technology: Dell

Dell Inc. is a diversified information-technology supplier and partner, which sells a comprehensive portfolio of products and services directly to customers worldwide. Dell turned to IronPort to secure their email infrastructure while focusing on eliminating spam and illicit email. Ryder System, Inc. is a Fortune 500 provider of leading-edge transportation, logistics and supply chain management solutions worldwide. Ryder relies on IronPort to secure an advanced email infrastructure to serve its large employee base located in more than 1200 locations worldwide. Deployed at the network gateway, the IronPort C-Series shield internal servers from email threats, without interfering with message system operations or adding additional administration time.

Higher Education: Johns Hopkins University

Founded in 1876, the Johns Hopkins University was the first research university in the United States. Today, it has a presence in China, Italy and Singapore, as well as many other countries, making it a world leader in teaching, patient care and scientific discovery, particularly in medicine. Like other academic computing environments, Johns Hopkins has deployed the IronPort C-Series Email security appliances to protect and manage literally hundreds of mail servers installed in dozens of departments serving more than 36,000 users.

K-12 Education: Grand Prairie Independent School District

The Grand Prairie ISD has 33 campuses and over 20,000 students. The District turned to IronPort Systems to improve education delivery and meet regulatory requirements. The IronPort C-Series Email Security Appliance insulates the GPISD from increasing attacks on their email infrastructure by spammers and an alarming stream of viruses.

Government: Salt Lake County

Located in Utah, Salt Lake County is home to over 910,000 residents and 15 municipalities. With its email serving as a primary communications link between its many departments, managers and constituents, the county chose IronPort Systems to implement a robust, manageable and affordable solution to the solve serious problems posed by email borne threats.

Health Care: L.A. Care

L.A. Care Health Plan is a non-profit, community accountable HMO that serves more than 750,000 Los Angeles County residents. L.A. Care is the nation's largest public health plan and also one of California's largest health plans. L.A.
